The automotive supply speciality Brose UK has been awarded a Gold award for health and safety from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), for the third year in a row.
The company, which is owned by a German family but is based in Coventry, specialises in supplying electric drives and mechatronics systems. At its Exhall headquarters, on-premises measuring 11,000 square metres, Brose UK has been working hard on improving workplace health and safety.
The hard work at Brose UK, which includes improving health and safety at work training among staff, has now been recognised by RoSPA. The RoSPA awards have been running for 57 years and represent the longest-running programme of its kind in the UK.
Commenting on the RoSPA Gold Award the company has won three years in a row now, Brose UK’s head of human resources Deborah Ritchie said;
“We are very proud of our health and safety record and delighted to have achieved the Gold Standard again from RoSPA.
“This proves that our internal systems are operating to an extremely high standard and ensures working here is a safe and enjoyable experience.”
