It is unfortunate and startling how many injuries, illnesses and deaths are related to the work place every year.
In the UK alone there were approximately 12,000 deaths last year that may have been caused by past exposure from work – primarily from being exposed to chemicals and dusts. In a lot of cases it is recognised that if employees had been health & safety trained then a lot of these incidents could have been prevented.
