Are your staff members fully trained in food safety?

All businesses have a responsibility to keep their staff healthy and safe at all times, but there is also the obligation to ensure that your customers are protected too. What this means for businesses which manufacture, make, sell or serve food is that strict food safety and hygiene measures need to be put in place.
It is crucial that all of your staff members are properly trained in food hygiene. Even one weak link, a new employee or even someone who doesn’t have much to do with food preparation, could be a danger to your customers and to your business.
Unless each and every member of your team understands the standards which must be maintained at all times, something could go wrong. It could be as simple as an employee storing a food item in the wrong place, or forgetting to wash their hands, but it could cause a product to be contaminated or a food safety inspector to take action against your business.
Make sure that all of your staff undergo even basic food safety training, then make sure they have everything they need to do their jobs safely and hygienically.
