Working Safely training: an essential course for all employees

Health and safety at work training is often specific to the nature of the job and its inherent risks, meaning that employees who take on more dangerous tasks will need to attend more advanced training courses.

However, there is a course designed to teach all employees within the business the basics of health and safety at work. The course is called Working Safely, and it is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

The IOSH Working Safely course focuses on:

– Why health and safety is important in the workplace
– How each employee can make a difference to the safety culture within the business
– Working safely on a day-to-day basis
– Identifying common hazards and risks
– How safety performance can be improved
– Protecting the environment

By sending all of your employees on the IOSH Working Safely training course, you will have taken the first step to making your workplace safer and preventing employee accidents and injuries. It only takes around six hours to complete, but it can be immensely valuable to your company.

You can then start to plan more advanced and specific training for employees who may undertake hazardous or complex activities.
