Course Length
Our First Aid at Work Requalification training course runs for 12 hours and is completed over 2 days. Our courses are structured to allow breaks for you to eat and rest throughout the day.
Certificate Validity
The First Aid at Work certificate lasts 36 months (3 years) upon completion of the First Aid at Work course. Before expiry, you’ll need to re-enrol or sign up to this First Aid at Work Requalification course to receive a new certificate.

How Do You Get Certified?
This course is available via an in-house group course for up to 12 delegates. Choose for the course to be delivered either face to face or by a webinar learning option, at a time and place convenient to you. What is a requalification course?
Dedicated first aiders in the workplace need to renew their certification every three years. A requalification course builds upon previous training and looks to ensure the methods and process in place are relevant to new legislation and practices.
Who is this requalification course for?
It is for anyone that has previously been awarded a first-aid at work qualification. To meet with HSE guidelines the First Aid at Work certificate expires every three years and must be renewed via this course if you are a dedicated on-site first aider.

Is this requalification course mandatory?
Yes, if you are to remain a dedicated first aider within your workplace. The HSE strongly recommends that you requalify within a month of your certificate expiring to comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974.
What will I learn in this course?
The course aims to update and refresh your knowledge of the First Aid at Work syllabus, while allowing time for revision and practice sessions in preparation for a written assessment. You will also look at new legislation and processes to ensure your practices are up-to-date.
