About Dementia Awareness
This course is for any staff working with dementia in a health or social care setting. The course covers the umbrella syndrome that includes conditions like Alzheimer’s disease. This course can also be an intro course for any staff members new to the area. Or can also be used as a refresher. Candidates will learn to understand dementia. They will manage it and gain knowledge of the hardships faced by these individuals and their families.

This course is 3 hours and spread across 1 day.
