How long will this course take?

This course is delivered within 2 days over a 12 hour period.

Who needs this training?

This course has been designed for anybody looking to update their 3-day First Aid at Work certificate. Taking place over two days, you will receive an updated certificate.

Understand the correct response to emergency situations, how to use an AED machine, gain knowledge of life support, CPR and more.

How do you get Certified?

This course is available via an in-house group course for up to 12 delegates. Choose for the course to be delivered either face to face or by a blended learning option, at a time and place convenient to you. Alternatively, learn through one of our scheduled courses at centres located across the UK. Upon completion of this course, a certificate will be awarded.

What is a Requalification course?

Dedicated first aiders in the workplace need to renew their certification every three years. A requalification course builds upon previous training and looks to ensure the methods and process in place are relevant to new legislation and practices.

Who is this course for?

It is for anyone that has previously been awarded a first-aid at work qualification. To meet with HSE guidelines the First Aid at Work certificate expires every three years and must be renewed via this course if you are a dedicated on-site first aider.

Is the course mandatory?

Yes if you are to remain a dedicated first aider within your workplace. The HSE strongly recommends that you requalify within a month of your certificate expiring.

What will I learn in this course?

The course aims to update and refresh the candidates knowledge of the First aid at work syllabus, while allowing time for revision and practice sessions in preparation for a written assessment. Candidates will also look at new legislation and processes to ensure their practices are up-to-date.
