This course is the equivalent of an A-level qualification. It is for those who already work in the care sector with a small amount of responsibility, sometimes working without supervision. When completed, the candidate will have the skills and knowledge to work with adults or children across all social care settings.

How long will this diploma take to complete?

The awarding body for this qualification stipulates that the diploma should be completed within 36 months, though most students will successfully finish the programme in approximately 12 months. We encourage students to learn at their own pace.

How is this training delivered?

Over the months, enrolled learners will put together an online portfolio of coursework for their appointed assessor, who helps to guide learners throughout their diploma.

What are the entry requirements?

Where can I progress after this course?

Delivery and Certification

Our assessment process is designed so that delegates are prepared for the challenges their occupation will involve. Delegates are appointed a vocationally trained Assessor who helps assemble the e-portfolio and guides them for the duration of the diploma. Email and telephone support is also provided throughout the RQF diploma Level 3 programme and the resources available will be provided as needed. At the end of this program delegates will receive an OFQUAL approved accredited qualification.

Outline of Course

Learners will need to gain 58 credits to complete this RQF. This is made from mandatory units worth a minimum of 28 credits, optional units worth 2-7 credits, and further optional units worth at least 23 credits.
