The Level 5 RQF Diploma in Adult Care focuses on leadership and management within a health and social care setting. Are you a senior member of staff with management responsibilities? This vocational training is perfect for you to develop in your role.
This qualification replaced the QCF Level 5 in health and social care, which in turn replaced the NVQ Level 5 in health and social care.

With a focus on leadership and management within a health and social care setting, this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to lead a team that takes an amazing of adults in a social care setting.
How long will this diploma take to complete?
The awarding body for this qualification stipulates that the diploma should be completed within 36 months, though most students will successfully finish the programme in approximately 9 months. We encourage students to learn at their own pace.
How is this training delivered?
Over the months, enrolled learners will put together an online portfolio of coursework for their appointed assessor, who helps to guide learners throughout their diploma.

What are the entry requirements?
Potential delegates need to be aged 19+ and employed in a relevant vocational setting with senior/leadership roles in order for them to be able to complete this Level 5 qualification successfully. It is strongly recommended that candidates have also completed the Level 3 diploma. Please contact us for more information.
Where can I progress after this course?
This Level 5 diploma is the working equivalent of a foundation degree. Upon completing this programme, graduates have the option of moving on to a Level 7 strategic management diploma, or can undertake a range of other specialist courses that are also available with us at TutorCare.

Delivery and Certification
Our assessment process is designed so that delegates are prepared for the challenges their occupation will involve. Delegates are appointed a vocationally trained Assessor who helps assemble the e-portfolio and guides them for the duration of the diploma. Email and telephone support is also provided throughout the RQF Level 5 programme and the resources available will be provided as needed. At the end of this program delegates will receive an OFQUAL accredited qualification.

The RQF is completed by achieving 90 credits from a variety of different units; at least 30 of these credits must come from the mandatory units and at least 16 from the optional units.
