About Asbestos Train the Trainer
This Train the Trainer course is ideal for those in the construction industry. This course ensures learners understand how to avoid situations exposing them to asbestos. As this can cause serious health problems if inhaled. The training provides candidates with an understanding of where asbestos can be found, and how to survey it and prevent it from being exposed. That means that the workplace will be safe. They will learn different training methods to teach this course to others. Also, candidates will learn how to give and receive feedback to and from others and evaluate others.
Course Length
Our Asbestos Train the Trainer course is 6 hours long and completed in 1 day. Our courses are structured to allow breaks for learners to eat and rest.
Certificate Validity
The Asbestos Train the Trainer certificate lasts 36 months (3 years). Before expiry, you’ll need to re-enrol to receive a new certificate.
Delivery

The Asbestos Awareness course teaches staff members how to train others on the risks of asbestos. It is designed for any company that carries out activities that may affect the fabric of the building they are working on, such as through drilling and much other light or heavy-duty building tasks.
What will I learn in this course?
Training provides delegates with the ability to teach others asbestos awareness. They will be able to explain where it can be found as well as how to survey it and discuss safe working practices should others come into contact with asbestos.
Is this a mandatory course?
The current Regulations place a legal duty on employers to provide information, instruction and training to any of their employees who are likely to be exposed to asbestos as part of their work. This course will help you meet the mandatory requirements through in-house training.
