About the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
This QCF level 3 diploma in health and social care is a nationally recognised qualification that provides a work-related programme of study for caregivers who work within adult services. So, get the skills you need to deliver high-quality care within your place of work. A programme that follows CQC recommendations for anyone looking to learn the fundamentals of their job. It is for those who hold some responsibility in the workplace and those working without supervision. Delegates may take a general qualification pathway in health and social care or specialise in dementia care, learning disabilities, substance abuse and management.
This qualification replaced the QCF Level 3 in health and social care which in turn replaced the NVQ Level 3 in health and social care.

Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care – Core Information
This course is the equivalent of an A-level qualification. It is aimed at those who already work in the care sector with a small amount of responsibility, sometimes working without supervision. When completed, the candidate will have the skills and knowledge to work with adults across all social care settings.
Course Length
While enrolled students are encouraged to learn at their own pace, the QCF Level 3 in Adult Care must be completed in 24 months, but can be finished sooner.

Entry Requirements
To enrol, students must be based in England and working in a relevant adult care role.
Delivery and Certification
Our assessment process is designed so that delegates are prepared for the challenges their occupation will involve. Delegates are appointed a vocationally trained Assessor who helps assemble the e-portfolio and guides them for the duration of the diploma. Email and telephone support is also provided throughout the QCF diploma Level 3 programme and the resources available will be provided as needed. At the end of this program delegates will receive a qualification accredited by Highfield Qualifications.

Outline of Course
To complete the Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (QCF) (England), learners must complete the following: all units contained within the mandatory group totalling 39 credits, and a minimum of 19 credits from the optional group.
