Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care – Core Information

This course is the equivalent of an A-level qualification. It is aimed at those who already work in the care sector with a small amount of responsibility, sometimes working without supervision. When completed, the candidate will have the skills and knowledge to work with adults across all social care settings.

Course Length

While enrolled students are encouraged to learn at their own pace, the QCF Level 3 in Adult Care must be completed in 24 months, but can be finished sooner.

Our assessment process is designed so that delegates are prepared for the challenges their occupation will involve. Delegates are appointed a vocationally trained Assessor who helps assemble the e-portfolio and guides them for the duration of the diploma. Email and telephone support is also provided throughout the QCF diploma Level 3 programme and the resources available will be provided as needed. At the end of this program delegates will receive a qualification accredited by Highfield Qualifications.

To complete the Highfield Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care (QCF) (England), learners must complete the following: all units contained within the mandatory group totalling 39 credits, and a minimum of 19 credits from the optional group.
