Course Length
While enrolled students are encouraged to learn at their own pace, the RQF Level 5 in Children and Young People’s Services (CYP) must be completed in 24 months, but can be finished sooner.

Entry Requirements
To enrol, students must be based in England and working in a relevant child care role.

Delegates are appointed a vocationally trained Assessor who helps assemble the e-portfolio and guides them for the duration of the diploma. Email and telephone support is also provided throughout the RQF Level 5 programme and the resources available will be provided as needed. At the end of this program delegates will receive a qualification accredited by Highfield Qualifications.

Outline of Course
Learners must achieve a minimum of 90 credits to complete this RQF. Learners must gain all 30 credits from the mandatory group and the remainder from the optional units.

- Unit 6: Undertake a research project within services for health and social care or children and young people.
- Unit 7: Understand children and young person’s development.
- Unit 8: Lead practice that supports positive outcomes for child and young person development.
- Unit 9: Develop and implement policies and procedures to support the safeguarding of children and young people.
- Unit 10: Lead practice in promoting the well-being and resilience of children and young people
