This Sexual Harassment Awareness course is designed for employers and focuses on how they can support their staff in preventing serious incidents. Participants will explore what constitutes harassment, how it can affect individuals, and the relevant legislation, including the Equality Act 2010 and the Worker Protection (Amendment of Equality Act 2010) Act 2023.
The course highlights the importance of a clear Sexual Harassment Policy, provides key statistics, and outlines the range of behaviours associated with harassment. It also covers how to report incidents and how to empower staff to safely intervene (either in the moment or afterward) by reporting concerns and cooperating with investigations.
Course Length
Our Sexual Harassment Awareness course is 3 hours long, spread across a half-day period. Our courses are structured to allow breaks for learners to eat and rest.
Certificate Validity
The Sexual Harassment Awareness certificate is valid for 36 months (3 years) after completing TutorCare’s Sexual Harassment Awareness. To maintain their qualification, candidates must re-enrol before expiry.
