This course is available via an in-house group course for up to 12 delegates. Choose for the course to be delivered either face to face or by a blended learning option, at a time and place convenient to you. What is ADHD?
ADHD refers to ADHD – Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder. ADHD is a behavioural condition that seems to be linked mainly to genetics, changes in brain structure, and brain injury (either pre or post-birth).
What are the symptoms of ADHD?
The main symptoms split into two different groups: ‘inattentiveness’, and ‘hyperactivity and impulsiveness’. Symptoms may include an inability to finish tasks, appearing forgetful or losing things, constantly changing activity or task, as well as many more. The course explains the differences between the two groups and lists all possible symptoms.

Our ADHD Awareness training course is specifically for individuals who work with or regularly support this disorder. The course will give delegates a better understanding of the issues associated with ADHD and the challenges which affected individuals may face.

Yes, the courses teach delegates management techniques so that they can assist other people in managing the symptoms of those with ADHD. It also looks at behavioural factors of ADHD, treatment and diagnosis.
