Our diet and nutrition awareness course will teach learners how to review what their patients need, including key minerals and nutrients. Training will also cover how to change a patient’s diet to help avoid illness. The trainer will then explain what causes malnutrition and how to feed the elderly.

This course is aimed at those that create meal plans and healthy eating habits for the community; this could be in a care setting, nutritionists, doctors or even social workers.
What are the main points covered?
The course explains the concepts of nutrition and nutrients, and explains as well what malnutrition is and how it can affect the body.
How is it delivered?
Courses are delivered in-house or online via webinar/e-learning for up to 12 people. We also hold open courses across the UK.

This course is available via an in-house group course for up to 12 delegates. Choose for the course to be delivered either face to face or by a blended learning option, at a time and place convenient to you. Alternatively, learn through one of our scheduled courses at centres located across the UK. Upon completion of this course, a certificate will be awarded.
