About Medication Train the Trainer
This course is ideal for team leaders, nurses and experienced carers in the health and social care industry or childcare industries, who are responsible for medication. It focuses not only on the importance of recording and reporting the usage of medicines but also on reducing the risk of errors and ensuring medicines are administered and processed safely. Candidates will understand the different types of medication, how to use and dispose of them correctly and more.
This course ensures preparedness from its learners to support patients and handle their medication safely and accurately. As this is a train the trainer course, candidates will also be provided the knowledge and skills needed to deliver training to others in their teams confidently and accurately.
Course Length
Our Medication Train the Trainer course is 6 hours long and completed in 1 day. Our courses are structured to allow breaks for learners to eat and rest.
Certificate Validity
The Medication Train the Trainer certificate lasts 36 months (3 years). Before expiry, you’ll need to re-enrol to receive a new certificate.
