How long will this diploma take to complete?
Most students will successfully finish the programme in approximately 9-12 months, though we encourage students to learn at their own pace.
How is this training delivered?
Over the months, enrolled learners will put together an online portfolio of coursework for their appointed assessor, who helps to guide learners throughout their diploma.

Who needs this qualification?
The course is for senior practitioners in a leadership and management role who work within childcare settings including day nurseries, creches, playgroups, pre-school and reception.
What are the entry requirements?
As assessment takes place in the workplace, students must be employed in a relevant vocational setting to enrol on the course.
Where can I progress after this course?
This Level 5 diploma is the working equivalent of a foundation degree. Upon completing this programme, graduates have the option of moving on to a Level 7 strategic management diploma or can undertake a range of other specialist courses that are also available with us at TutorCare.

Delivery and Certification
Our assessment process is designed so that delegates are prepared for the challenges their occupation will involve. Delegates are appointed a vocationally trained Assessor who helps assemble the e-portfolio and guides them for the duration of the diploma. Email and telephone support is also provided throughout the NVQ Level 5 programme and the resources available will be provided as needed. At the end of this program delegates will receive an OFQUAL accredited qualification.
