The importance of first aid training for nursery school staff – The Training Hub

- Responding to suspected fractures and head, back and neck injuries
- Resuscitation
- Electric shock
- Foreign bodies in the eyes, nose and ears
- Eye injuries
- Bites and stings
- Identifying the signs of serious sudden illness (i.e. meningitis)
- Responding to the emergency needs of chronic conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy
This kind of in-depth training course can really help to prepare you for the challenges you may face when working with children. Once this initial course is complete, it is imperative that you undertake regular refresher courses to keep your knowledge and skills up to date.
